Portrait Photography
Portrait Photography is one of the more interesting kind of photography schools out there. There are a lot of reasons why you might want to study portrait photography, but perhaps one of the best reasons to pursue this kind of photo shooting is to express your own personal creativity.
Now if you want to do portrait photography, you are going to have to have the right kind of portrait lenses. Here are a couple lenses tossed out there for you to pursue. You might want to look at getting say the Canon 85mm L lens. This is a prime lense, meaning there is no adjustable zoom. But man, you can take some sweet shots with this lense IF you use it right. The lens itself gives off some pretty sweet bokeh (that blurry stuff in a photo that helps you focus on the main interest while the rest of the image is blurred).
There are a number of portrait photography tips you can follow if you want to take a good picture. However, it's probably best that you first master how to take basic pictures first. You should also know exactly HOW to use your camera first too -- know all the manual settings so you can take full advantage of your camera. And of course, the better quality your lens gear, the better you'll able to produce high quality images with your camera. Note that you don't need the best lens to take the best pictures, but man it can sure help.
